Slugfests in Valley league
Teresa Abplanalp and Desiree Bennett were each 4-for-4 for Mike’s Townline Service in a 12-6 Valley Girls Slowpitch Softball League game on Monday at Betts Park.
Seneca Home Health outslugged Double D’s for a 27-23 victory. Both teams are now 1-4 on the season. Dani Brien had a triple and homer for the winners and Emily Byrd was 6-for-6 with a double at the dish. Kayla Hultberg tripled and homered in defeat for Double D’s.
