Seven enter pleas during county court

Seven defendants entered guilty pleas during Warren County Court proceedings last Thursday before Judge Maureen Skerda.

Guilty pleas were entered by:

Bryan Wayne Busche, 114 Vine St., to one count each of aggravated indecent assault and sexual abuse of children. Six charges of indecent assault and eight charges of corruption of minors were not prosecuted.

Dustin J. Gregory, 910 Jones Hill Rd., Sugar Grove, to a count of criminal attempt (theft). A charge of criminal attempt (burglary) was not prosecuted.

Richard L. Marrs, 642 Center St., Corry, to a count of cruelty to animals. An additional charge of cruelty to animals was not prosecuted. He was sentenced to pay a $300 fine and court costs.

Douglas Dewayne Pierson, Warren County Jail, to a count of failure to comply with registration of sexual offenders.

Raymond Dale Snyder, Rest Stop Inn, 9045 Rt. 6, Tiona, to a count of disorderly conduct. A charge of resisting arrest or other law enforcement and two charges of possession or drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, to a count of theft by unlawful taking. A charge of receiving stolen property was not prosecuted.

Muriel Beth Whipple, 318 E. Fifth Ave., to one count each of DUI: Minors, driving while under suspension and general lighting requirements. One charge each of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: High rate of alcohol (BAC .10 to .16), rear lighting, required financial responsibility and purchase, consumption, possession or transport of liquor by a minor were not prosecuted.
