Mrs. Roberta M. Culver, 73, Robbins, NC, passed into the next live at 9:30 pm, Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in Duke Medical Center, Durham, NC following a brief illness. She was born October 10, 1939 in Sheffield to the late George and Madeline Seth Schultz.

A former a resident of Sheffield and Corry, Roberta has lived in Robbins, NC since 1994. She was working as a bookkeeper for Pinehurst United Methodist and belonged to the American Legion Ladies Auxillary. As an active member of Sacred Heart Church, Pinehurst, NC, Roberta, made Rosaries and was active in Women of the Sacred Heart. Her many interests included collectables and antiques.

She is survived by her husband Richard D. Culver, whom she married September 24, 1988 at St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Sheffield; two sons, Urban Biers, Russell and Dana Biers, TX; and four grandchildren, Rachel, Seth, Joshua and Hannah Biers.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 24, 2013, at 11:00am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Sheffield with Reverend Father John R. Neff, pastor, officiating. Burial will following in St. Joseph Cemetery, Warren. Friends will be received at the BordenLloyd Funeral Home, Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 6:008:00pm.
