DAC honors Sarvis

The Kanoagoa Chapter Daughters of the American Colonists (DAC) held a picnic at the home of Judi Wilson recently.

Pauline Rowland Sarvis was presented a 50-year membership certificate. She joined the Chapter in 1963 and has been a very active member during the past 50 years.

A planning meeting was held for suggestions for meetings for the next season begining in September. An update was given on replacing the plaque at Washington Park and the plaque at the Warren Public Library honoring Lillian Acomb Hunter, who was national president of DAC.

Any woman who can trace her ancestors back to the 13 original colonies may be a member of DAC. For more information, contact Judi Wilson at 726-7240.
