26 enter guilty pleas in county court

Twenty-six defendants entered guilty pleas and one had a bench warrant issued for his arrest during Warren County Change of Plea Court proceedings last week before Judge Gregory Hammond.

Guilty pleas were entered by:

William CB Bennett, 13 Duke Dr., to one count each of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+) and fleeing or attempting to elude police. Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving and reckless driving were not prosecuted.

Savannah J. Birchard, 4 E. Airport Dr., Apt. A, Corry, to a count of theft by unlawful taking. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was not prosecuted.

Jada Lee Coursey, 2545 Liberty St. Ext., to one count each of sale or illegal use of certain solvents and disorderly conduct. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and scattering rubbish were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, Coursey had charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness withdrawn.

Richard Walter Czop, 167 W. Main St., Suite 5, Trappe, Pa., to a count of public drunkenness. Czop was sentenced to pay a $500 fine.

Roger Stephen Dalo, 4115 Market St., to a count of disorderly conduct. Two charges of terroristic threats were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, Dalo entered a guilty plea to a count of criminal mischief. An additional charge of criminal mischief and a charge of stalking were not prosecuted.

Derek Gene Edwards, 1724 Priest Hollow Rd., Russell, to a count of purchase, consumption, possession or transport of liquor by a minor. Charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and unauthorized use of automobiles and other vehicles were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, Edwards entered a guilty plea to a count of DUI: High rate of alcohol (BAC .10 -.16). Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: Minors, minor prohibited from operating with alcohol in system, restriction on alcoholic beverages and purchase, consumption possession or transport of liquor by a minor were not prosecuted.

Harrison Andrew Flasher, 18 Park Ave., to one count each of theft by unlawful taking and criminal conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking).

John Robert Flasher, 161 Swede Hollow Rd., Sugar Grove, to one count each of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+) and careless driving. Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving vehicle at safe speed and restraint systems were not prosecuted.

Ethan Allen Fuller, 309 Laurel St., to a count of forgery. Charges of tampering with records or identification and tampering with public records or information were not prosecuted.

Rodney Allen Gage, 102 Cottage Place, Russell, to one count each of harassment and disorderly conduct. A charge of simple assault was not prosecuted.

Benjamin Joseph Hammond, Warren County Jail, to a count of terroristic threats. An addition charge of terroristic threats was not prosecuted.

Scott Charles Havelka, 796 Division St., West Mifflin, Pa., to counts of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving with accident and driving on roadways laned for traffic. Charges of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), careless driving and driving vehicle at safe speed were not prosecuted.

Mickelle Marie Hicks, 166 Moon Rd., Bear Lake, to a count of simple assault. A charge of disorderly conduct was not prosecuted.

David Scott Kuzminski, 589 Braley Rd., Russell, to a count of receiving stolen property. An additional charge of receiving stolen property was not prosecuted.

Alexander David Layden, 10194 Rt. 6, Tiona, to three counts of loitering and prowling at night. Two additional charges of loitering and prowling at night, four charges of disorderly conduct, two charges of burglary and two charges of criminal trespass were not prosecuted.

Valentina D. Marano, 5 Cool Springs Lane, Sheffield, to one count each of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+) and careless driving. Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, notice of change of name or address, driving on roadways laned for traffic and trespass by motor vehicle were not prosecuted.

Theodore James McKendree, 10094 Jackson Run Rd., Sugar Grove, to a count of indecent assault. An additional charge of indecent assault and a charge of harassment were not prosecuted.

Daniel Paul Morehead, Warren County Jail, to a count of burglary. An additional charge of burglary, a charge of theft by unlawful taking, three charges of receiving stolen property, a charge of theft from a motor vehicle, a charge of escape, two charges of criminal trespass, two charges of criminal mischief, two charges of criminal conspiracy (burglary), a charge of criminal conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking) and a charge of criminal conspiracy (theft from a motor vehicle) were not prosecuted.

In a separate incident, Morehead entered a guilty plea to a count of criminal conspiracy (escape). Charges of weapon or implement for escape, possessing instruments of crime and criminal conspiracy (institutional vandalism) were not prosecuted.

Jonathan Lee Morse, 25 Bean Dr., to one count each of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), driving on roadways laned for traffic and driving too closely. Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving with accident, registration/certification of title, required financial responsibility, driving on right side of roadway, driving vehicle at safe speed, careless driving, period for requiring lighted lamps and restraint system were not prosecuted.

Chad D. Nudd, 1311 1/2 Sill St., to two counts of cruelty to animals.

In a separate incident, Nudd entered a guilty plea to a count of intimidation of witnesses or victims.

Tyler James Peterson, 403 W. Smith St., Corry, to a count of criminal mischief. An additional charge of criminal mischief, two charges each of arson and related offenses, burglary, criminal conspiracy (arson), criminal conspiracy (burglary) and theft by unlawful taking or disposition were not prosecuted.

Robert Gene Phelps, 71 Korchak Lane, to a count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. Charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and indecent assault were not prosecuted.

Brian Allen Scharrer, 414 E. Main St., Youngsville, to a count of habitual offenders. An additional charge of habitual offenders and two charges of driving while operating privilege is suspended/revoked were not prosecuted.

Shawn Michael Stec, 33 Laverne Dr., to one count each of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), driving while operating privilege is suspended/revoked, driving on roadways laned for traffic, careless driving and duty to give information and render aid. Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, accident with damage to attended vehicle/property, registration card to be signed/exhibited on demand, operation following suspension of registration, carrying and exhibiting driver’s license on demand, required financial responsibility, driving on right side of roadway, meet vehicle proceeding in opposite direction, false reports and two charges of driver required to be licensed were not prosecuted.

Joseph Aaron Windham, 800 Holly St., Apt. H1, to a count of theft by unlawful taking. A charge of disorderly conduct was not prosecuted.

Keith Marcell Yates, 6 Conewango Place, to a count of DUI: Controlled substance – impaired ability. Charges of DUI: General impairment – incapable of safe driving, possession – small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.

A bench warrant was issued for Raymond Dale Snyder, 104 Holly St., for two charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a charge of resisting arrest or other law enforcement.

In a separate incident, Snyder was scheduled to appear for charges of receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking.
