Simple assault. Warren-based state police reported that on May 22 a known 11-month-old female suffered a broken wrist. According to police, the investigation remains open.

Eldred Twp.

Rape. Warren-based state police reported that between August 7, 2011 and August 13, 2011 a known 16-year-old female reported being raped by a 19-year-old male at a residence on Fiddlergreen Road. The investigation continues.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on June 11 at 3;15 p.m. on US 6 west of Ross St. A 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Rachel Campbell, 22, Russell, was traveling west negotiating a right curve in the roadway. The left front wheel detached from the vehicle, causing the vehicle to travel off the north berm approximately 12 feet, coming to a final rest along the north berm. The left front wheel traveled approximately 125′ west of the vehicle, coming to rest along the south berm. No charges were filed and Campbell was not injured. Chase Car Care removed the vehicle from the scene.


Scam. Youngsville Borough police received a report from a resident that an unknown male called her residence requesting personal information from her. The unknown male caller stated that she will recieve a free medical alert system if she gives him personal information about her. The female did not give any information to him.

Criminal mischief. Youngsville Borough police received a report from John Pollow of East Main St., Youngsville, who reported to police that somtime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, someone did damage to his Dodge truck that was parked in front of his business, scratching the side of the truck and dumping sandbags in the bed. Anyone with information is asked to call Youngsville Borough police.

Theft. Youngsville Borough police said that they are investigating two separate gas drive-offs from Kwik Fill in Youngsville. On Thursday, June 6, and Sunday, June 9, a green car drove to the gas pumps, received $20 worth of gas, and fled the scene without paying. The driver was described as a male in his 20s with blonde hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Youngsville Borough police.
