Farmers Market vouchers will again be available to Warren/Forest county residents age 60 or older who meet income guidelines. Income guidelines are $21,257 for single and $28,694 for a couple. ID with birthdate are required. Places and hours of distribution are:

June 3: Sheffield Hospitality Center: 9-11 a.m.

June 5: Marienville Senior Center: 9-11:30 a.m.

June 6: Tidioute Senior Center: 9-11 a.m.

June 7: Canterbury Court: 9-10 a.m. -residents only

Conewango Towers: 10:30-11:30 a.m. – residents only

June 10: Endeavor Senior Center: 9-11:30 a.m.

June 17: Warren(ACC): 9-11:30 a.m.-last name starting A-F

June 18: Youngsville Boro Bldg.: 9 a.m.-noon

AOC on the move

On Thursday, June 6, the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) will hike six miles on the Forest Cathedral trails in Cooks Forest. This will be a moderately strenuous hike. This hike will also lead hikers through the largest stand of old growth white pine and hemlock in Pennsylvania. Participants will meet at the Cook Forest Park Office on River Road at the intersection with Rt. 36 at 2 p.m. For more information, call Charlene James at (814) 463-7394 or cell (814) 516-6595.

Also on Thursday, June 6, the AOC will ride bikes from the Jamestown Audubon Center to Akeley for ice cream then return. Participants will meet at the center at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Pat Spicer at (814) 757-8331, evenings.

On Sunday, June 9, the AOC will hike four miles in the Cherry Grove area. Participants will meet at Howe’s True Value at 1:30 p.m. For more information, call Bob Gregersen at (814) 779-3631.

Circle Eight to

dance Saturday

The Circle Eight Square Dance Club will dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in the auditorium at Warren State Hospital, North Warren. Caller will be Dave Wolfhope.

Polka Sunday

The Slovenian Polka Boosters will dance from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the St. Marys Moose Club. Eddie Vallus of Poland, Ohio, will provide music for all types of dancing. The public is invited to this Mother’s Day event. For information, call Paul Leofsky at 563-7516.
