Sarah Phillips homered in a seven-run first inning on Monday and CTI Physical Therapy/United Refining started the Valley Girls Slow Pitch Softball League season off right with a 30-2 win over Double D’s at Betts Park.
Carissa Stuart had a home run and two triples, and Mike’s Townline Service had eight extra-base hits in a 13-0 win over Seneca Home Health.
