Players to meet
Warren Players will hold its annual election and business meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, in the Friends Room of the Struthers Library Theatre. Anyone who is a member of the Struthers Library Theatre or who has been involved in a Warren Players production in the past two years is considered a member and is encouraged to attend. The meeting is open to the public.
Off to Blair
Allegheny Community Center will have a bus ride to the Blair open house on Friday, June 14, at 1 p.m. Come see what they do behind the scenes and watch demonstrations. Call 723-3237 to make reservations on the TAWC bus. Seated is limited, so call soon
MS support offered
The Warren Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the Slater Room (third floor) of the Warren Public Library. The topic will be how to deal with memory loss with MS. Light refreshments will be available, but everyone is asked to bring their own beverage of choice. Anyone affected by MS, their family, friends and anyone interested in learning more about MS are invited. There is no charge for anyone to attend. The library is handicapped accessible from the rear of the building by parking in the midtown lot. There is an elevator to the third floor. Parking passes are available at the meeting for the midtown so there is not a fee for parking. Knit in public day
“World Wide Knit in Public Day” will be sponsored locally on Thursday, June 6 by the Warren County Fiber Artists at Tim Horton’s Cafe and Bake Shop, 36 Pennsylvania Ave., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All knitters are invited. Participants should take a project on which to work.
Auxiliary meeting moved
The Ladies Auxiliary to Marshall Larsen VFW Post 314 will not meet June 6, their regular meeting date. Instead, the group will have a meeting Thursday, June 20, which will include a picnic in the pavilion at 6 p.m. Participants should take a tureen to share and their own table service.
