LITTLE LEAGUE… 05/31/13

Riana Hoffman was 5-for-5, and teammates Katie Freeborough and Olivia Manderfeld had four hits each, in Animalistics Outdoors’ Girls Minors win.

In a hard fought defensive battle, First Niagara played Hoover Oil in Boys Training. Luke Becker and Owen Becker had extra-base hits for Hoover Oil. Luke Becker teamed up with Tristan Shepherd to drive in six of Hoover Oil’s runs. For First Niagara, Konnor Hoffman and Braylon Barnes each had extra base hits. First Niagara’s Dean Sullivan and Ben Hoffman also combined for six RBIs.

Tommy Nyquist had a home run for Results Rehab in a Boys Training game.

Max Conklin had three hits, as well as being the winner pitcher, for Wells Fargo in a Boys Minors win. Conklin teamed up with Bryce Blair and Ryan Rafalski to combine for 17 strikeouts and only two walks. Jacob Desimone had a two hits, including a double, for Youngsville Dairy Queen.

Alex Borger threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings, striking out 10 of 16 batters for Warren Fence’s Boys Minors win over Means Sales and Service. Ben White, Ben Salapek, and Hunter Seelinger had doubles for Warren Fence, while James Swanson hit two triples and Alex Ferry doubled for Means.
