Golf results

Denny Ayers had the nine-hole low gross of 38, and Denny Davis the low net of 24, on Friday in the Cable Hollow Senior Men’s Golf League. Davis had the most 9.5 points, and Ayers the most pars with six. Bob Buerkle and Davis had two birdies each, and Dave Lopez, Bob Wolfe, Denny Kirkpatrick and Ayers one each. Here are the team standings:

The 16th Annual Memorial Day Member-Member concluded Sunday at Conewango Valley Country Club with Bart Jensen and his partner, Andy Benson, winning the event with a total of 50 points in the Modified Stableford Best Ball scoring system.

The team of Ryan Calkins and Greg Noon finished second at 49 points, and teams of George Adams and John Zawacki and Jim Phillips and Chip Lucia tied for third at 48.
