Public Drunkenness. Warren-based state police were called to Bakers Keystone Gas and Service Station on May 23, at 8:54 a.m., for a report of a female acting strangely. Upon arrival, police found a juvenile female, 17, crying and acting very strangely. Further investigation revealed she was under the influence of bath salts. She was transported to Warren General Hospital by Clarendon VFD for treatment.

Conewango Twp.

False Alarm. Warren-based state police were called to Conewango Valley Country Club on May 24, at 3:16 a.m., for an alarm that turned out to be false. This is the fifth false alarm in a 12-month period. Charges have been filed through District Court.

Elk Twp.

DUI Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a crash on Scandia Road. on May 25 at 6:30 a.m. According to police, Darrell Beahon, 53, of Tidioute, received moderate injuries when his 2004 Dodge Dakota SLT left the west edge of Scandia Road. near the PA/NY border. The vehicle impacted a guide rail with it’s passenger’s side and rode the rail approximately 360 feet. The vehicle then impacted another guide rail with the front end and drove over an embankment. The vehicle came to a final rest over a steep embankment facing south. A good Samaritan came across Beahon who managed to free himself from the unit. He was subsequently transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Charges of DUI and summary traffic violations are to be filed in District Court.

Farmington Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police were called to a Jackson Run Road. residence on May 25, at approximately. 10:28 a.m., for an incident involving an unknown actor attempting to forcibly break into a residence while the victims were inside. After a brief confrontation, the unknown actor fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV heading north on SR 69. The actor was described as a dark skinned male approximately. 6 feet tall, skinny, wearing a baseball hat with dark colored clothes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crimestoppers. Anyone playing golf at Jackson Valley Golf Club on the above date and time may have seen something due to the residence being directly across the road.

Mead Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating a case of criminal mischief that occurred between 5 p.m., May 22, and 6:30 a.m., May 23, on an Oil Lease Road. off Brown Run Road. According to police, an unknown actor used an unknown vehicle to ram a gate causing extensive damage to property owned by Papco, Inc. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or Crime Stoppers.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Scattering Rubbish. Warren-based state police report Jonathan Monagle, 25, of Lakewood, NY is accused of scattering rubbish on the property of Franklin Zahm on May 21. A non-traffic citation was filed through District Court, for scattering rubbish. The accused removed the refuse from the victim’s property.

Youngsville

DUI. On May 24, at 9:30 p.m., Warren-based state police arrested Robert Williams, 61, for DUI following a traffic stop on Matthews Run Road. Williams was charged with DUI and other violations.
