LITTLE LEAGUE… 05/23/13

Derek Childs caught a big pop fly at third base for Jim Auto Sales in a Boys Training coach pitch game on Wednesday. Devin Colosimo made two outs as pitcher for First Niagara.

Jackson Knupp had 11 strikeouts and one walk in a complete-game Boys Majors win for Inscale Architects on Wednesday. Dylan Ecklund had three hits and two RBI for Inscale, and Owen Balas and Marvin Bryant two hits each for Cornerstone.

Warren Fence Company’s John Page, Alex Borger and Ben Salapek combined for 14 strikeouts in a Boys Minors win on Tuesday. Max Conklin went 4-for-4 in Wells Fargo’s loss, while Ryan Rafalski and Conklin combined for nine strikeouts.

Natalia McManigle drove in the game-winners with a three-run triple on Wednesday as Inscale Architects pulled out the 16-15 Girls Minors win over Whirley Drinkworks. Marissa Grubbs was 3-for-3 with a triple, and Morgan Munksgard and Andrea Sveda had two hits each for the Architects. Neveah Hamilton, Carly Sowers and Alex Pascuzzi had doubles for Whirley.
