Golf results

The teams of Bob Gray, Pat Regan, Jerry Martin and Jerry Hendershot and Dave Walde, Eric Mead, Kevin Koerbel and Anthony Pellegrino Jr. tied for first at 131 each in Saturday’s Spring Foursome Member-Guest golf tournament at Conewango Valley Country Club. The team of Bill Andrews, Ange Cusimano, Steve Puleo and John Gray finished third with 135.

Denny Ayers had the nine-hole low gross of 38, and George Broadbent, Ron Lindstrom, and Ron Owens the low net of 32, in Friday’s Cable Hollow Senior Men’s Golf League. Tony Conti had the most points with nine, Ayers the most pars at eight, and Hank Mole had two birdies. Pat Black, Jim Terrill, Lindstrom, Jerry Carr, Art Cagle, Bill Baglia, Gary Peterson, Al Ludwick, Wayne Marino, Dick Whiting, John Berdine, Cliff Jenkins, Dave Ford, Fred Hallett and James Swick also birdied holes. Here are the standings:

Kinzua soccer

The Flatt U12 boys Kinzua soccer team beat Grove City, 4-3, on Sunday in Warren. For 6-0 Flatt Kinzua, Andrew Beyer scored twice, Mitchell Grosch once and Carter Borland once. Ryon Flatt and Grosch had assist. Joshua John and Tyler Gustafson were defensive standouts. Thomas Lucks and John were in goal.
