Correction. Warren City Police have issued a correction. Marie Perry, 82, of Warren, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle accident occurred May 5 at the intersection of Penna. Ave. and Central. Not Alice Albaugh as previously reported.

Eldred Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report sometime between March 1 and May 13, someone forcefully gained entry to a camp on Mickle Hill Rd. belonging to Alan McCombs of Willoughby, Ohio. Property damage is estimated at $75. Stolen property will be determined at a later date.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on May 13 between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:05 p.m., someone backed into a legally parked 2011 Kia Sorento. The vehicle suffered damage to the hood and and along the entire passenger side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Mead Twp.

Criminal Trespass. Warren-based state police report on May 14 at 3:44 p.m., a 19 year-old male entered the Six Mile Rd., Tiona home of a 42 year-old female without permission and refused to leave.

Pittsfield Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report between the dates of May 13 and May 15, someone entered the backyard of a SR27 residence in Pittsfield and damaged the swimming pool. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Pine Grove Twp.

Burglary/Criminal Trespass. Warren-based state police report sometime between May 4 and May 8, someone gained entry to a Priest Hollow Rd. camp by smashing a rear window. Once inside, actors stole power tools and laminate wood flooring. Property damage is estimated at $45 and stolen property is valued at $1,625. The investigation continues.

Southwest Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on May 13 at 9:25 p.m. a crash occurred on Tidioute Enterprise Rd. north of Pineville Rd. According to the police report, David Craig, 41 of Tidioute, was coming out of a left hand curve when he lost control, traveled back across both lanes, spun clounterclockwise, left the north edge of the roadway, and hit a tree. The vehicle came to rest facing west and the driver was uninjured in the crash. Craig was charged with DUI and other traffic violations with District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth.
