Sonia Probst had low gross of 43 in Wednesday Evening Ladies Golf League play at Cable Hollow Golf Course. Sue Ferranto had the most pars during play with four, Probst finished with three and Bev Grobaski and Ann Knepshield had two each. Here are the low scores from the round:

The team of Rick Rohlin and Scott Pierson took the top spot in the Monday Night Scratch League at Cable Hollow Golf Course with a score of 16.5 points. Ron Lemon and Dan Lemon were second with 13 points and John Lindsay and Brad Beckstrom were third with 12 points. Lemon and Lemon had the low gross score of 34 in Monday’s round.
Skete Williams had low gross of 36 and Terry English had low net of 29 in Tuesday Night Golf League play at Jackson Valley Golf Club. Tim Watkins had second low gross of 37 and Roy Blackwell and Mike Trojanowski shared second low net of 30.

The teams of Gary McCollough and John McHenry and Roy Swanson and Lee Cole led the Kim’s Kafe Scratch League at Blueberry Hill Golf Club this week with scores of 35. The teams of Chris Riche and Scott Saber, Ralph Clark and Ryan Nuhfer and Dave Andersen and Tom Jones all shared second with scores of 36.
The teams of Bob Hunter and Mark Kulka and Jim Wagner and Jack Werner shared the top spot in the Fitch Disposal League, Tuesday at Cable Hollow Golf Course, with 5.5 points apiece. Jason Lyon and Jim Crossley had round’s low gross score of 34 and Dave Bortz and Rick Nasman had the round’s low net score of 35.
Ryan Lemon had low gross of 38 and Gregg Kolstee, Gary Bailey, Warren Whittenhall and Dan Tassone all shared low net of 32 in 2-Man Golf League play, Tuesday at Cable Hollow Golf Course. The team of Steve Stoeltzing and Greg Citro led the league with 29 points while the teams of Gary Darling and Steve Darling and Eric Fisher and Dan Brown shared second-place with 28.5 points each.

Jon Nelson and Denny Kirkpatrick shared low gross of 38 and Kirkpatrick had low net of 28 in Senior Men’s Golf League play Friday at Cable Hollow Golf Course.
Ralph Hoffman and Kirkpatrick shared high point total with 8.5, Al Ludwick and Nelson had the most pars with six, Pat Black had an eagle, Pat Hultquist and Kirkpatrick had two birdies each and George Broadbent, Nelson, Frank Suppa, Hank Mole, Bob Buerkle, John Berdine, Cliff Jenkins, Steve Brown and Don Smith all had one birdie during play.

The Jamestown Area Oldtimers baseball team traveled to Ohio last weekend and returned with two wins over rival American League opponents. In game one, Jamestown mounted a 23-hit attack in a 22-6 win over the Youngstown Astro Falcons. In game two, the Oldtimers plated four runs in the final two innings to top the Boardman Fog, 7-6.
Against Youngstown, Ron Thomas had five hits and Sammy Spera added four. Thomas was the winning pitcher, striking out seven batters in seven innings. Against Boardman, Wade Nelson was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and Ted Morrison earned the victory on the mound.
The Oldtimers are back in action Saturday, competing in a doubleheader in Struthers, Ohio.

The Kinzua U14 boys soccer team defeated Clarion, 5-3, on Sunday. Lionel Eason scored twice for the winners with Griffin Suppa, Tanner Kays and Conner Guiffre adding one goal each. Guiffre, Jake Rettenbur, Bryce McCracken, Seth Harrington and Troy Shattuck all had one assist and Harrington and Dominic Giannini split time in goal.
John Bevevino recorded his second career hole-in-one Thursday at Conewango Valley County Club. The ace came on the 132-yard fifth hole and came using an 8-iron. The shot was witnessed by Ron Leofsky, Al Baldensperger and Gary Baldensperger.
The Eisenhower at Iroquois baseball game originally scheduled for Friday was postponed. The game will be made up at 4 p.m., Tuesday, in Lawrence Park.
The Franklin at Youngsville softball game was suspended due to rain during the fifth inning, Friday, at Youngsville High School. The game will be completed at 4 p.m., Wednesday, at Youngsville High School.
