Class to dine

Warren Area High School Class of 1966 will have dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Pleasant Valley Inn, Rt. 6 west of Youngsville. The committee will need the number of reservations and how many are ordering prime rib by May 10. On the move

On Thursday, May 9, the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) will hike five miles on the Songbird Trail at Buzzard Swamp, which is one mile south of Marienville on Loleta Road. Off to N.J.

The agenda and luggage tags are available at the Allegheny Community Center for the five-day trip to Wildwood and Atlantic City, N.J. The trip will leave Monday, May 13, at 6 a.m. and return Friday, May 17 at suppertime. Seats are still available on the bus; call 723-3237 for more information or reservations.

PARSE to meet

Seeking vendors

The Rouse Home in Youngsville will have its first SummerFest celebration July 26-27 on the Rouse Estate campus from noon to 8 p.m. both days. The event will include area food and craft vendors, live music and children’s carnival, all in celebrarion of summer. A schedule of musical entertainment is being determined but will feature a variety of genres from local and regional bands. The planning committee is seeking food and craft vendors for the evnet. Garden board to meet Thursday

Warren Garden Club board of directors will meet at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, May 9, in the Jefferson Room of the Warren Public Library.

Rummage sale

Irvine Presbyterian Church will have a rummage sale, bake sale and lunch for sale May 9-10, at the church. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday, when items will be $1 per bag.

Youngsville High School Class of 1948 will have breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at Richard’s Restaurant in Youngsville.

Mothers honored

The Church at Bear Lake will have a Mother’s Day Tea at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 12. Mothers, daughters and all are welcome. The men will meet for donuts and coffee to swap hunting and fishing stories at the same time.
