Parole violation. On April 11, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Richard Madigan, 22, Clarendon, on charges of violation of parole and probation. The defendant, who was originally placed on parole on charges of corruption of minors, was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Warrant issued. On May 1, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from the Conewango Township Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, arrested David Delattre, 47, Warren, on charges of violation of probation. Delattre, who was originally placed on probation for contempt of court by violating a Protection From Abuse order, was taken into custody by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between 3:30 p.m. April 30 and 6:30 a.m. May 1, someone pried open an electrical box and shut off the breakers for hot oil tanks at PennDOT’s main shed. Police said the shut-off caused the oil to cool to a temperature that would not allow it to be used without a significant reheating time.
DUI. On April 28 at 1:33 a.m., Warren-based state police stopped David Hitchcock, 53, Russell, on Route 957 in Lander for traffic violations. Police said they found Hitchcock to be under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with DUI and summary traffic violations.
