Conewango Twp.

Bad checks. Conewango Township police reported that on April 7 they received a complaint from Kirk Foust that Linda J. Hinton, Sugar Grove, wrote a bad check to him for the amount of $250 that came back not sufficient funds. Hinton was sent a notice of the bad check and she failed to make good on it. Hinton was charged with one count misdemeanor bad checks. Charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that on April 25 at 9:33 p.m. police were dispatched to a report of retail theft at Wal Mart. Wal Mart Loss Prevention stated that Kelly D. Wadsworth, Warren, took possession of merchandise, placed it in her purse and attempted to elave the store without paying for the items. Loss Prevention personnel attempted to stop Wadsworth as she was leaving the store. Wadsworth then allegedly ran out of the exit, throwing some merchandise on the ground as she left. During a police investigation, it was determined that Wadsworth took possession of $170.92 worth of merchandise before she exited the store. She has been charged with one count of misdemeanor retail theft and charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.

Retail theft. Conewango Township police reported that on April 28 at 6:31 p.m. police were dispatched to a report of retail theft at Wal Mart. Wal Mart Loss Prevention stated that Jessica Fernandez-Rodriguez, Jamestown, NY, took tags off of merchandise and placed them on other merchandise. She has been charged with one count of summary retail theft and charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.

Limestone Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between March 29 and April 29 someone took a 1994 Johnson 35 HP Jet boat motor off of a boat located in a driveway of a residence located on Kirkpatrick Farm Lane. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Youngsville

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on April 29 at 6:30 p.m. Amanda Whitford, Youngsville, allegedly slapped a known 43-year-old female in the face during an argument. She was cited for harassment and charges were filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
