Golf results

Fred Hallett had low gross of 40 and Gary Redick had low net of 33 in Senior Men’s Golf League play Friday at Cable Hollow Golf Course. Walt Caper was the high point taker with 8.5 points and Dale Martin, Denny Ayers and Bob Wolfe shared the most pars with eight.

Ross Cali, Al Ludwick, Pat Hultquist and Hallett all had birdies during play. Here are the standings through Friday’s round:

Jr. high track

Several members of the Eisenhower junior high track & field team competed at the Johnsonburg Invitational on Saturday. Here are those Knights that finished among the top ten in their respective events:

Boys

Ike Mat Club

The Eisenhower Mat Club will meet at 6:15 p.m., Monday, in Room 309 of the high school.

Youth soccer

The Kinzua U12 boys Flatt soccer team defeated Millcreek Soccer Academy, 7-5, on Sunday. Collin Blair and Caleb Lindell scored two goals each while Ryon Flatt, Mitchell Grosch and Joshua John scored one goal apiece.

Blair had two assists while Andrew Beyer, Flatt, John, Lindell and A.J. Seyler added one assist each. Thomas Lucks was the winning goalkeeper and Kinzua got strong defensive efforts from Grosch and Beyer.

The Kinzua U12 boys Harrington soccer team defeated Mercer, 6-3, on Sunday. Michael Shingler led the team with three goals and Tommy Harrington, Devin Navaroli and Alex Nabinski added one each.

Harrington added two assists and Owen Jacobson, Jake Funari, Navaroli and Dustin McAvoy had one apiece. Harrington and Funari split time in goal.
