Golf results

The teams of Roy Swanson and Lee Cole, Sam Marek and Rick Nowacki and Joe Nelson and Charlie Irvin shared the low round of the night with scores of 36 in the Kim’s Kafe Scratch League at Blueberry Hill Golf Club. The team of Ken Sumner and Tim Swanson was one shot back with a 37.

Postponed

The Iroquois at Eisenhower baseball game originally scheduled for Friday was postponed. No makeup date has been announced.

Rescheduled

The Franklin at Youngsville baseball game originally scheduled for Friday was postponed. The game will be made up at 1 p.m., Saturday, at Franklin High School. The meeting between the teams scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, in Franklin will now be played at Davis Street Field in Youngsville.

The Warren at Fort LeBoeuf softball game originally scheduled for Friday was postponed. The game will be made up at 4 p.m., Monday, at Fort LeBoeuf High School in Waterford.

The Warren at Harbor Creek baseball game originally scheduled for Friday was postponed. The game will be made up at 4 p.m., Monday, at Harbor Creek High School. Warren’s originally scheduled game with Jamestown (NY) on Monday will be made up at 4 p.m., Thursday, at Jamestown High School.

The Warren Doubles Boys Tennis Tournament scheduled for Saturday at Betts Park will now be played at the Lakewood Family YMCA due to expected cole temperatures on Saturday morning. The event will begin at 9 a.m.

Jr. legion tryouts

Tryouts for Junior American Legion Baseball League players from the Youngsville and Sugar Grove areas will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 28, at Davis Street Field in Youngsville. For more information, call 814-563-7788.

Youth mat

Warren County members of the Ragin’ Raisins Wrestling Club in North East participated at the Brute Empire Nationals and Duals this past weekend in Brockport, N.Y. Over 1,000 competitors from five states gathered to battle for All-American status on Saturday.

Eisenhower’s Cael Black was a 135-pound champion in the Midget Division and finished fourth in the 135-pound Junior Division. Youngsville’s Austin Slocum was a champion in the 250-pound Cadet Division.

In the High School Division, Tidioute’s Hunter Proctor was third in the 152-pound weight class and Warren’s Garrett Smead was fifth in that same weight class.
