This is a special reminder that the Second Annual International Appetite for the Arts is being held this evening, Saturday, April 20, from 5-9 p.m. at Allegheny Community Center. It features fine food prepared by professional and amateur chefs, musical entertainment, an art show, and a fantastic silent auction. Tickets are available at the door. You won’t want to miss it and please bring your appetite with you!

Everyone is invited to attend the ACC Flea Market being held at the center on Friday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There’s no admission charge! Hot dogs and munchies will be available for sale all day. This fun day offers a large variety of items for your shopping pleasure.

All non-casino trips leave from the CRI parking lot located on Pennsylvania Avenue West, just over the railroad tracks on the left (along the river), unless otherwise instructed to park elsewhere. Salamanca Casino trips depart from the Big Lots parking lot at the Warren Mall, as always. Not sure, just call 723-3237.

ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays. Hot lunches are available Mondays-Fridays at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.

Lunches

The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers April 22-26: hamburger hash Monday; chicken sandwich Tuesday; spaghetti Wednesday, fish Thursday, chef surprise Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
