Theft.. Warren-based state police charged Cody Johnson, Pittsfield, on three charges of theft by unlawful taking. The incident was originally reported on Feb. 29, 2012 by Lindell and Maney Oil and occurred between Feb. 19, 2012 and Feb. 29, 2012. The investigation continues into others possibly involved in the theft. Further court action is pending.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on April 16 at 12:30 a.m. on Austin Hill Road west of Timber Lane. Scott C. Havelka, West Mifflin, Pa., was driving a 2004 GMC Sierra west on Austin Hill Road where he failed to negotiate a left hand turn curve and traveled and traveled off the north side of the road striking a utility. The vehicle left the scene and was found later disabled and abandoned at the intersection of Hearts Content Road and SR 337. Police said that Havelka will be cited for several traffic violations including driving at safe speeds.
Theft. Pa. State Constables arrested Lehualani L. Rounds, Warren, on April 19 at 2:00 p.m. in Warren, on an arrest warrant for theft by unlawful taking. She was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and released on an unsecured $50,000 bond.
Resisting arrest. At 9:00 a.m. on April 17, Pa. State Constables arrested Edward Nolte in Spring Creek on a bench warrant for resisting arrest, interfering with an officer, and false id. He was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and released pending further court action.
Disorderly conduct. Bryan Irwin, Warren, was arrested by Pa. State Constables on April 18 at 10:00 a.m. in Conewango Twp. on charges of disorderly conduct. He was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and released pending further court action.
Pine Grove Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that on April 17 two unknown individuals took a crossbow off the front porch of a house located on Fox Hill Road. The individuals were said to be driving a white, older model, four-door sedan with New York license plates. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between the dates of March 5 and April 13, someone put maple syrup in the gas tank of a 1998 Ford Explorer belonging to Marc Lewis, of Warren, causing $700 in damag
Investigation. Warren-based state police reported that a known white male alleged that he was a victim of numerous incidents of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse between 1993 and 2001. The investigation remains open.
DUI. Youngsville police reported that Yvonne Ames, 34, Youngsville, was arrested for DUI and possession of a weapon on school property on Tuesday, April 9 at approximately 1 p.m. at Youngsville Elementary Middle School. Police were called to the school for a report of an intoxicated female on school property. While in the school, Ames was allegedly found to be in possession of a bottle of liquor, a knife and small cutting blades. Charges, including several summary offenses, are being filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
