Burglary/Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 9 p.m. on April 14 and 11:40 a.m. on April 15, at Rolling Express on Route 62 in North Warren, an unknown suspect took a large rock and smashed out the rear window at the Rolling Express shop, which was positioned in front of the beverage cooler. The suspect then proceeded to remove various types of alcoholic beverages, varying in size and brand. If anyone has information regarding this incident, contact PSP Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers. Investigation is pending.
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 1:45 a.m. on April 15 a crash occurred when Lyle M. Ladd, 82, Corry, driving a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country, was traveling east on RT6 and lost control of his vehicle, traveling off the south berm and struck a guiderail. There was no injury. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Forgery. Warren-based state police reported that between Dec. 19 and Dec. 28 on Hazeltine Run Rd., a known 50-year-old male, Sugar Grove, cashed a two-party check and allegedly forged the other party’s name. The investigation continues.
Harassment/Domestic. Warren-based state police reported that at 6 p.m. on April 15 on Jackson Run Rd., a suspect struck a known female, 62, Sugar Grove. The victim declined prosecution.
