Kinzua soccer

The Kinzua U10 co-ed soccer team defeated Oil Region, 8-0, this weekend. Paige Johnson scored three goals for Kinzua, and William McCollough, Ben Berdine, Darren Glotz, Payton Barnes and Jillian Horton scored one each. Rylie Yeager, Berdine, Zach Rohlin and Will Sokolski had assists for Kinzua, and Barnes had three saves in goal.

Graham Carr, Katie Beyer and Alex Ferry were defensive standouts in the opener.

The Kinzua U12 boys beat Shenango Valley Gold, 10-1, also on Sunday. Caleb Lindell scored four times for Kinzua, Ryon Flatt twice, and Andrea Beyer, Mitchell Grosch, Tyler Gustafson, and Joshua John once each. Assists were by Beyer with two, Colin Blair, Flatt, Gustafson, Lindell and A.J. Seyler. Defensive standouts were Gustafson, Seyler and Grosch. Goalkeepers were Thomas Lucks and John for Kinzua (1-0).
