Donation to library
The American Legion Post #758 recently gave the Sugar Grove Library $4000 to assist with their events. The Sugar Grove Library’s board of Directors is responsible for the fiscal well-being of the library and they take that responsibility seriously in the stressed economy.
As a direct result of state budget cuts and a down-turned economy the library is much more proactive in creating events that not only augment the library’s need for annual sustainable fundraising but also establish a venue for the library to give back to our local community.
Librarian Kim Wilson stated, “On behalf of the Board and the over 5,000 people they we serve, we would like to thank the American Legion Post #758 for the $4,000 donation and the help that it give us by allowing us to continue to reach all goals.”
