ROY’s Fine Art and Vino Venue set for Saturday, April 20, in Youngsville
Revitalization of Youngsville will host the Second Annual Fine Art and Vino Venue on Saturday, April 20, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Youngsville Fire Hall. The admission to this event will be free. Participants can shop, sit, sip and snack with family and friends. There will be an art competition, and winners will be announced for the Amateur Wine Makers Contest, both with prizes. The event will feature music throughout the day including Paul and Joan Eisert, Barbershoppers, and Storytime with Phil. Those 21 and older can purchase a wine tasting ticket for $10, buy a glass of wine, or bottles of wine to take home. The following wineries will be present: Allegheny Cellars Winery, Flickerwood Winery, Burch Farms Country Market and Wine Shop, Courtyard Winery, and Arrowhead Wine Cellars. There will be food sampling and foods to purchase for your wine paring pleasure.
Retail items will include handcrafted jewelry by Marcia Johnson; Dolly Nuhfer – handcrafted products, Cathy Millard – knitted items, rice bags, fancy flip-flops, Corelli Golden Kisses Soaps and Candles, Pennie’s Country with Penny Hopkins, Wanda Kelley – 4 Hen Art, Linda Mason Designs, Karen Heltzel – Moments in Time Studio, Rick Bloomquist – Moments in Art Print and Design, Stephanie Seller – Origami Owl jewelry, Anderson – embroidery/screen painting, Laura Fitch – body scrubs and lotions – Belle Amie, Michelle Streich of Stonehill Chocolates, Alissa Streich for Passion Products, Sophia Jewelry with Karen Winn, Reanne DeVore Handcrafts, Wildtree with Spices and Foods, Pampered Chef with Rita Benson, and Weidner Deli with jerky.
The Art Competition categories are: painting (any subject), painting (wine related subject), functional wine related items (wine holders, coasters, trays, etc.). Awards are $30 for first prize in each category, $20 second prize in each category, and $50 People’s Choice Award. There is a $5 entry fee per entry, fees after the first 30 entries will enrich all prizes, and no sales commission.

Wine tasting tickets are available at Youngsville Pharmacy and Allegheny Artistry in Youngsville, Allegheny Cellars Winery in Sheffield, and Warren County Insurance in Warren. The first 300 tickets will receive a goodie bag with commemorative wine glass. Please do not open any bottles during this event, feel free to purchase as much wine as you like, but hold off enjoying your wine until you reach home.
