‘Broadway Night’ planned at First Presbyterian

On Wednesday evening, April 17, the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary will once again light up like Broadway. The annual “Broadway Night” will begin with a wonderful free dinner in fellowship hall at 6 p.m. provided by Lynda Slocum and her crew. Diners will then move on to the sanctuary for the 7 p.m. main event, the “Broadway Night” variety show. Director Barry Dietsch promises an eclectic feel-good night of Broadway style entertainment featuring the Bell Choir, Sanctuary Choir, Junior Choir, and numerous ensembles and solos. Dietsch claims that “even the most winter-hardened Warrenites will enjoy this evening of fun which includes a sing-a-long. Many very talented people have been preparing acts and are eager to entertain and bring a smile to your face.” Although admission is free, a goodwill offering will be collected to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event.
