Youth Connection to

entertain at ACC

Youth Connection will entertain after dinner on Monday, April 22, at Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m., and Youth Connection will entertain at 6:30 p.m. Dinner cost will be $7 per person and will include pork loin, potatoes, vegetable, applesauce, coffee and dessert. Reservations can be made by calling 723-4180 no later than April 18. This is open to the public.

Win at bridge

Winners in Monday’s duplicate bridge game at the YMCA were Jill Dart and Sally Steele with 26.5; Harry Conarro and Nan Cashman, second with 24; and Carolyn Lake and Marjorie Polito, third with 23.

Winners in Thursday play at the Woman’s Club were Marg Polito, first, and Carol Lake, second.

Benefit planned

for Dakota

A benefit spaghetti dinner for Dakota, son of Al Burkett and Trish Meece, and his family will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Tionesta Presbyterian Church. Dakota is recuperating from shaken baby syndrome.

Class to breakfast

Youngsville High School Class of 1948 will have breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11, at Richard’s Restaurant, Youngsville.

Circle Eight to dance Saturday

The Circle Eight Square Dance Club will dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, in the auditorium at Warren State Hospital, North Warren. Caller will be Dick Miller.

Polka Sunday

The Slovenian Polka Boosters will dance from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at the Big Trout Inn, Weedville. Frank Moravcik of Cleveland, Ohio, will provide music for all types of dancing. The public is invited. For information, call Paul Leofsky at 563-7516.

Garage sale to

benefit Relay for Life

An indoor garage sale to benefit Relay for Life will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at First Lutheran Church. Donations will be accepted. Proceeds will benefit Team Remember.

Chicken served

A chicken barbecue will be held from noon to ? Saturday, April 13, at Garland Presbyterian Church. The menu will include a half chicken, salad, beans, rolls and dessert. Cost will be $5.50 for chicken only or $9 for the full meal.

Class to lunch

Warren High School Class of 1946 will have lunch at noon Tuesday, April 16, at the Conewango Men’s Club, Market St., Warren. Reservations are not required but appreciated; call Jack Harrington at 726-5649.

Men’s night planned

An “All-In Men’s Night” will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at First Church of God, 1111 Madison Ave., Warren. Guest speakers will be former Pittsburgh Steeler John Kolb and George Lilja, former Cleveland Brown. Tickets are limited; they are $5 and are available at the church. Cost includes a beef on ‘weck meal.
