Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 8:19 a.m. on April 2, on SR957 near Pine Valley Rd., a crash occurred when William R. (Mio), 40, Corry, driving a Ford E-250 ambulance, was traveling east on SR957 and ascended a hill in the snow-covered roadway, which caused the rear end of his vehicle to spin out of control. He then traveled off the roadway, hit a dirt embankment and came to rest on its side. There was a passenger in the vehicle, Michael Wilson Norman, 57, Corry. Both were wearing seatbelts. Minor injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that a crash occurred at 8:17 a.m. on April 2, on Jackson Run Rd., 2,772 feet east of an unnamed street, when Kristen L. Danielson, 37, Sugar Grove, driving a 2008 Ford Taurus X, was traveling eastbound on SR69 on snow covered roads. The vehicle lost control and spun clockwise, where it then left the roadway and came to a final rest on its roof in the ditch off the south edge of the roadway, facing west. Danielson was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Danielson was not cited due to the roadway conditions.
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 7:54 a.m. on April 2, on SR957 east of Lottsville, when Jenna Rae Morton, 21, Jamestown, NY, driving a 1992 Pontiac Grand Am, was traveling west on SR957, and a 2011 International Dura Star, driven by David William Bialo, 40, Oil City, was disabled on a hill in the roadway; his vehicle was partially blocking the east/west lanes of SR957. Morton descended a hill in the snow-covered roadway and failed to stop. She then swerved to avoid Bialo, but was unsuccessful. Morton then traveled off the roadway and hit a dirt embankment. After initial impact, she slid into Morton’s vehicle. Morton’s vehicle had moderate passenger side damage, while Bialo’s vehicle had minor front end damage and was operational. Morton’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Crash. Warren-based state police reported that a crash occurred at 8:30 a.m. on April 2, on PA27, 1,509 feet west of an unnamed street, when Shereen R. Silvis, 46, Pittsfield, driving a 2008 Cadillac CTS, was driving westbound on SR27. Upon cresting a hill, she went off the south side of the roadway and impacted a utility pole head on. The crash caused major damage to her vehicle and also caused damage to the utility pole. Silvis left the scene, but was found at her residence a short time later. She was cited for driving on roadways laned. Traffic charges are pending.
Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on March 31 between 12:45 to 1 a.m., at 58 Second St., Terri Lee Rosequist, Youngsville, subjected a known female to physical contact, scratching her during an argument. Rosequist was cited for harassment. The charge was filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
