Men to breakfast

A men’s breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, at North Warren Presbyterian Church. The breakfast is open to all men of the community, regardless of their faith. Cost is a donation of $3 for breakfast cooked by men from the community. All men are welcome.

MS support offered

Warren Multiple Sclerosis Support group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in the Slater Room of the Warren Public Library. Participants will share information about the May 19 MS Walk at Betts Park and will have open discussion. Light refreshments will be available, but everyone is asked to bring their own beverage of choice. Anyone affected by MS, their family, friends and anyone interested in learning more about Multiple Sclerosis is invited. There is no charge to attend. The library is handicapped accessible from the rear of the building by parking in the midtown lot. There is an elevator to the third floor. Parking passes will be available at the meeting for the midtown lot, so there is not a fee for parking. Class to gather

Warren Area High School Class of 1966 will have lunch at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at the Warren County Career Center. The center is located next to the high school. They will close their diner to accommodate the class, so they will need an accurate count no later than April 10. Cost will be $7 per person for a sit-down, professionally served meal that will include soup, entree, desert and coffee in a nice restaurant setting. Auxiliary to meet

The Ladies Auxiliary to Marshall Larsen VFW Post 314 will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the post home, Brown Ave., Clarendon. Members are reminded that officers will be elected for this coming fiscal year.

Crossing benefit

“Sunday Sundaes” will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at The Crossing, Hickory St. at Pennsylvania Ave. W. Donations will support The Crossing.

Scholarship offered

Warren Garden Club will award a $500 scholarship for 2013 to a high school senior, college or graduate student who plans to further their education in horticulture, landscape architecture, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, city planning, land management and/or allied subjects.
