Public drunkenness. Warren City Police cited Lisa Bailey, 41, Warren, for public drunkenness after officers were called to a report of a vehicle being broken into on March 12. Police said Bailey was found to be intoxicated, and confused her vehicle with the vehicle of the caller.

DUI. Warren City Police charged Matthew Welsh, 24, Warren, with driving under the influence of alcohol (2 counts), accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle, careless driving, driving vehicle at safe speed, and driving on roadways laned for traffic after officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident on Madison Avenue on March 13. Police said witnesses directed officers to the location of the suspect vehicle, where they encountered Welsh and took him into custody.

Cited. Timothy Gillett, 62, Warren, was cited by Warren City Police on March 13, for following too closely and drivers required to be licensed following a hit and run accident where he struck the vehicle in front of him that had legally stopped at an intersection.

Careless driving. On March 15, Warren City Police cited Paulette Atkins, 60, Warren, for careless driving following a three-vehicle accident at Conewango Avenue and McPherson Street. Police said Atkins stopped at the intersection and then proceeded to turn right onto Conewango Avenue, striking the rear driver’s side corner of another car. That car then traveled into incoming traffic, striking a third car.

Intimidation of witnesses. On March 15, Warren City Police charged Chad Nudd, 42, Warren, with intimidation of witnesses or victims after he reportedly made threats to a witness in a recent court case against him. Police said Nudd was taken into custody and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

DUI. On March 17, Warren City Police charged Renae L. English, 51, Warren, with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI, highest rate of alcohol, driving on right side of roadway, and period for requiring lighted lamps following a traffic stop after officers observed her driving on the wrong side of the roadway.

Cited. Warren City Police cited Ashley Streit, 23, Warren on March 18 for general regulations for municipal waste collection after officers received a report that she was burning garbage.

Harassment. Warren City Police said Jerry Huntington, 37, and Barbara Wyant, 38, both of Warren, were cited for harassment after officers received a report of a domestic dispute involving mutual combat.

Public drunkenness. Robert Brown, 29, Warren, was cited by Warren City Police on March 18 for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, harassment, defiant trespass (two counts), after officers received a complaint that Brown entered two apartments uninvited, following victims around and causing them alarm.

Warrant. Janeen Sanders, 33, Erie, was taken into custody on March 19 on a warrant from Erie County after Warren City Police officers were called to Warren General Hospital for a woman who would not leave. Police said upon confirming her identity and verification of the warrant, she was transported to Warren County Jail to be held for Erie County.

False identification. On March 19, Warren City Police charged Joseph Acevedo, 24, Warren, with false identification to law enforcement officers following a traffic stop. Police said Acevedo knowingly provided the wrong identification information to an officer to avoid being arrested.

Harassment. Silk Spencer, 26, Warren, was cited by Warren City Police for harassment after officers responded to a domestic dispute, where he reportedly subjected a female to physical contact.
