DePue Brothers next in the concert series

DePue Brothers Band will be the next in the Warren Concert Association series, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Library Theatre.

Headlined by these virtuosic violinist brothers from northwest Ohio, the DePue Brothers Band has been performing and recording for the past nine years, while the brothers themselves have been making music together for over 25 years. With ties to the Philadelphia Orchestra, Philly Pops, the Star Wars Orchestra, the DePue Brothers Band is all about bending and blending genres. From Bach to Rock, from Pachylbel to Van Halen, from Copland to Earl Scruggs, the audience is in for a joyous ride through many moods and languages of music. The Brothers’ first album, Classical Grass, sold out of its first printing. Their “band” album, Weapons of Grass Construction, was released in 2010. They are at work on a unique Holiday/Christmas album for a Fall 2013 release. They have performed in large concert halls, outdoor festivals and intimate chamber settings, with similar reactions: “blazing.., incredible energy.. extremely entertaining..five-star band not to be missed !” Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Tickets will be available at the door, or call 723-6050 for information.
