Harassment. City of Warren police reported that on March 12, Crystal Gruber and Jeremy Sweeney, both of Warren, were cited for harassment after officers were called to their residence for a domestic dispute where both parties admitted to physical contact during a fight.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that on March 9, Edward Ord, Warren, was cited for careless driving after officers were called to a two-car accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. East and Parker St. Police said Ord told them that he was stopped at the red light, looked away and when he looked back he thought that the light had changed to green and proceeded forward. Ord struck the vehicle in front of him that was stopped for the red light.
Animal noise. City of Warren police reported that on March 11, Denise McKee, Warren, was cited for animal noise ordinance after officers were called to her residence multiple times for a barking dog. Officers found that other complaints had been made since January 1, giving them grounds for the citation.
DUI. City of Warren police reported that on March 9, Raychel Barr, Warren, was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI: highest rate (BAC +.16), turning movements, required signals and operation of vehicle without certificate of inspection after she was stopped for failing to use her turning signal.
Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that on March 10, Richard Olson, Youngsville, was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment following an incident at a local establishment where he assaulted a female.
Harassment. City of Warren police reported that on March 10, Robert Thomas, Warren, was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct after police received a call of an unwanted male causing a disturbance at a residence.
Indecent assault. City of Warren police reported that on March 11, Robert Phelps, 21, Warren, was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and indecent assault after an investigation found he engaged in inappropriate contact with a child.
DUI crash. City of Warren police reported that on March 10, Peter Carnovale Jr., Warren, was charged with DUI, DUI – crash, DUI – highest rate of alcohol (BAC +.16), driving on right side of roadway accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property and immediate notice of accident to police after officers were notified of a hit and run accident in the area of East Street and Sixth Avenue. Officers said they were able to follow a trail of leaking fluid to Carnovale’s residence where they found the suspected vehicle parked in the garage. Officers said they made contact with Carnovale, who appeared intoxicated.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that on March 11, Robert Weidert, Warren, was cited for duties at stop signs after officers were called to St. Clair Street and Main Avenue for a two-vehicle accident. According to police, Weidert pulled out in front of another vehicle that had the right of way, causing it to strike his vehicle. Warren Fire Department’s ambulance transported three people to Warren General Hospital where they were treated and released.
Arrest. According to the Jamestown, N.Y., Police Department, John M. Griffin, Warren, who had appeared on the department’s Top Ten Most Wanted list, was being sought for alleged grand larceny. Griffin was located on March 13 by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies and is currently being held in the Warren County Jail where he is awaiting an extradition hearing. Police said Griffin is being charged as a fugitive from justice.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between March 10 and 11, someone stole two auto batteries from a log skidder belonging to Jay Sutton, Tidioute. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
