Winter trap

The Field Day for the Penn-York Winter Trap League was held Sunday at the Busti Trap Club. A shoot-off between Kalbfus and Sugar Grove to determine league champion was held with Kalbfus winning the 2012-13 league title.

For the Field Day competition, eligible shooters were separated into five classes and competed for almost $500 in prizes. Here are the results from that competition:

Class 1: Ed Pennington, Bob Gregersen, Ethan Black, Jon Shelton, Kevin Nicklas

Class 2: Scott Currie, Scott Gustafson, Jim Nowacki, Otto Carl, Lane Morrison

Class 3: Carl Brady, Jim Stearns, Rick Giannini , Dave Straight, Jerry Cressley, Sr

Class 4: Paul Hvizdzak, Elijah Trawick, Jacob Grimm, Dean Johnson, Rose Corbran

Class 5: Daryl Wurst, Miranda Keppel, Doug Gray, Ryan Bush, Leigh Johnson

Trap meetings

The Warren County Summer Trap League meeting will held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday at the Sugar Grove AmVets Club. The Chautauqua County Summer Trap League meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Busti Trap Club.


Warren County gymnast Emily Goodwill represented the Lakewood Starz gymnastics team at a quad-meet held Sunday in Batavia, N.Y. Goodwill earned first-place finishes in every event in which she participated. Here are Goodwill’s scores from the event:
