Conewango Twp.

Stolen property. Warren-based state police reported that between Dec. 21, 2012 and Jan. 21, a 1969 Honda Minitrail was stolen from a known 54-year-old male from Jamestown, N.Y. Police said an investigation continues.

Glade Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that at 11:45 a.m. on Feb. 22, someone entered the locker of a 16-year-old male at Warren Area High School and stole $65. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Crash. Warren-based state police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred March 6 at 9:56 p.m. on Hemlock Road. According to police, the crash occurred as Marlee White, 18, Warren, negotiated a left hand turn and came upon a disabled vehicle parked on the westbound lane. Police said White struck the front driver’s side of the disabled vehicle. White was not injured in the accident and was charged with driving on the right side of roadway. Police said the unnamed owner of the second vehicle was cited for vehicular hazard signal lamps.

Fraud. Warren-based state police report between Feb. 28 and March 6 a resident was made to believe someone had sold property on their behalf. In order to receive the profits, the victim was instructed to purchase Green Dot MoneyPak cards in the amount of $2,123 and provide the card numbers. The money was removed from the cards by the perpetrator and rendered worthless. Police urged the public to remain vigilant for money scams and never provide strangers access to banking accounts, prepaid cards, or other avenues to access money.

Tidioute

Drug paraphernalia. Warren-based state police reported that at 2:56 p.m. on March 7 at a Tidioute Borough residence, a female contacted them and said she found suspected drug paraphernalia inside a newly-owned residence. Police said troopers responded to the residence and took possession of the paraphernalia, which was subsequently destroyed.

Youngsville

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that between 5 and 5:47 a.m. on March 10 they received a complaint of a known male and known female becoming involved in a domestic dispute at 258 Main St. Police said both subjected the other to physical contact. Police said they were both cited for summary harassment. Charges were filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
