We are pleased to announce that the Line Dancing classes sponsored by Allegheny Community Center will now be held in the center’s dining room every Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. starting March 12. Interested new line dancers are encouraged to visit a class to find out if they want to participate with the dancing. It’s great exercise. Have your crochet skills slipped a little over the years, or you never had any? There’s a new crochet class every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Craft room at Allegheny Community Center. You’re invited. No charge.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) continues at the Center by appointment only on Mondays thru Fridays until the tax deadline on April 15, 2013. This free tax service is available for senior, disabled, low income, earned income and child tax credit taxpayers and includes property tax and rent rebate applications. If you qualify, please call 723-3237 or 723-4180 to make your appointment.

All non-casino trips leave from the CRI parking lot located on Pennsylvania Avenue West, just over the railroad tracks on the left (along the river), unless otherwise instructed to park elsewhere. Salamanca Casino trips depart from the Big Lots parking lot at the Warren Mall, as always. Not sure, just call 723-3237!
ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays and on those days when Warren County schools are closed unexpectedly due to bad weather. Hot lunches are available Mondays-Fridays at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.
The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers March 11-15: hot turkey sandwich Monday; hamburger Tuesday; macaroni and cheese Wednesday, meatloaf Thursday and chef surprise Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
