Yes, there will be a 2013 Corn Festival for 2013.
Because of the June Bicentennial Celebration in Youngsville, the annual Corn Festival celebration will be somewhat smaller than in past year’s, but we feel that it will be as much fun. Plans are still being made for the games and special events, but we will have a Snowmobile show on Saturday, Aug. 17, and a car show on Sunday, Aug. 18, both held at Island Park. We anticipate that we will be working around the construction on Railroad Street that is the first stage in our revitalization plan. Watch for further information about this event.
