Wrestling boosters

The Warren Wrestling Boosters will hold a mandatory parent meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the high school. All parents of Warren wrestling are asked to be in attendance. Plans will be made for the end of the year.

Little League registration

Warren County Youth Baseball/Softball Association (WCYBSA) registration will be online again this year, through March 8, at www.wcybsa.org.

Big 30

Two county football players have been selected to participate in the 40th Annual Don Raabe Big 30 Charities Classic football game scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at Bradford’s Parkway Field.

Youngsville High School senior Rocco Gatta will participate. Gatta is a 5’11, 180-pound running back and cornerback who is a two-time Region 2 all-star on defense. He was also a member of Youngsville’s undefeated regular season Region 2 championship winning team in 2011.

Eisenhower High School senior Nathan O’Brien has also been added to Pennsylvania’s roster. O’Brien is a 6’3, 205-pound wide receiver and safety. O’Brien was a member of Eisenhower’s 2012 Region 2 championship team and set a new school record for receiving touchdowns in a single season. O’Brien recently signed on to play football for Division II Lock Haven in the fall.
