AOC on the move

On Sunday, Feb, 17, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ski or hike the trails at Brush Hollow Cross-Country Ski/Hiking Area off Rt. 948, ten miles north of Ridgway. Bingo Saturday

Super Bingo to benefit the Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the fire hall. Doors will open at noon. The $35 entry fee includes all you can play bingo, free food and beverages, a $250 mini jackpot and a $500 coverall. There will be limited seating. Advance tickets are available.

Off to quilt show

The Allegheny Community Center will attend the Lancaster AQS Quilt Show March 13 -15, and it has been determined that a 24-passenger bus from Area Agency on Aging will be used for the three days. Those who want to go and are not signed up should call the center at 723-3237 for a reservation, or call Margaret Sleeman for more information or reservations at 723-7143.

Pancakes served

A Pancake Supper will be served from 5:03 to 6:47 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, East St., at Third Ave., Warren.

Lenten service planned

A community Lenten service will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 14, at First United Methodist Church, 200 Market St., Warren. This week, the speaker will be the Rev. Michael Poindexter of Pleasant Community Church, and liturgist will be the Rev. C.D. Moore of Warren Wesleyan Church. A soup and pie luncheon will follow the service Founders Hall.

Class to lunch

Warren High School Class of 1957 will have lunch at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Perkins in Warren.
