To ski Sunday

On Sunday, Feb. 10, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ski the trail at Toms Run at Hearts Content. Participants will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1:30 p.m. For more information, call John Young at 730-2915.

Men to breakfast

A men’s breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at North Warren Presbyterian Church. The breakfast is open to all men of the community, regardless of their faith. Cost is a donation of $3 for breakfast cooked by men from the community. All men are welcome.

Class to breakfast

Warren Area High School Class of 1966 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Perkins in Warren. All classmates, spouses and friends of the class are invited to attend. For reservations, email reunionofclassof or call 706-8958 or 706-8961 no later than Friday, Feb. 8.

Art league to meet

Warren Art League will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at First Lutheran Church, Third and East St. The business meeting will be followed by a presentation by Linda Mason, a local artist who will speak about making glass beads and describe the process.

Win at bridge

Winners in Social Bridge Club play at the Woman’s Club on Warren on Jan. 31 were Carol Lake, first, and Beth Howe, second.

MS support offered

Warren Multiple Sclerosis Support group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the Slater Room of the Warren Public Library. Mike Forslund, MPT & Owner of Results Rehab and Fitness, Warren Station Plaza, will be the guest speaker. He will talk about services they have to offer people with MS. Currently they are the only Rehab in our area offering Aqua therapy which is a great way for people with MS to have physical therapy or to just exercise. Light refreshments will be available, but everyone is asked to bring their own beverage of choice if they choose.

As always anyone affected by MS, their family, friends and anyone interested in learning more about Multiple Sclerosis are invited to attend. Meetings are free, and the library is handicapped accessible from the rear of the building. Parking passes will be available at the meeting for the midtown lot, so there is not a fee for parking.
