‘I Love You To Death,’ a Valentine’s Day love story, presented by WCHS
St. Valentine’s Day is a time for love, romance, and elegant dinners, right? Not for everyone, as you’ll find out at the Warren County Historical Society’s “Valentine Gala!” For an individual with homicidal tendencies, the thought of all that syrupy romance could have the opposite effect, and that cunning individual is going to strike during the historical society’s special annual dinner!
This year’s gala will honor four distinguished visiting authors. They have been working closely with the historical society’s Director of Marketing and Coordinator of Volunteer Services along with other staff and several board members to research and write a charming new book, “Khords Along the Kentschauk: The Untold Story of Barbershop Quartet Singing in Warren County.” On the surface everything appears quite normal, but there is a tangible sense of foreboding that surrounds this group of staff members and authors.
All of the planning and preparation that has gone into this splendid party is about to be trumped by the deeds of a heinous executioner. Who could the killer be? And why? Is it a person raging with jealousy over unrequited love or a murderous fiend with no reasoning?
Join the Warren County Historical Society for the exclusive Murder Mystery “I Love You To Death” on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Warren Holiday Inn located at 210 Ludlow St., Warren. The cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar and dinner at 6:30 p.m. It will be an evening full of comedy and merriment that will chase away the winter blues! You’ll have uproarious opportunities to mingle with eccentric and comical characters throughout the cocktail and dinner hour before someone is eliminated in an appalling manner! Team up with friends and table-mates to see if you can determine “who dunnit” and why!
