Indoor soccer

The Warren girls junior varsity indoor soccer team defeated Southern II, 6-5, in Lakewood Family YMCA Indoor Soccer League play recently. Emma Kridler led the winners with three goals and Justine Lasecki, Aldyn Poston and Olivia Ashbaugh added one goal each. Poston, Hanna Raible and Kathryn Lobdell added assists. Claire Abplanalp was a defensive standout and Paige McCullough was the winning goalkeeper.

Baseball meeting

The Eisenhower Baseball Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in room 309 at Eisenhower High School. All parents of prospective players for the spring 2013 season are urged to attend.

Freshmen hoops

Warren’s freshmen boys basketball team earned a 47-38 victory over Jamestown (NY) Wednesday at Warren Area High School. Evan Suppa led the winners with 21 points and Devin Nowacki also reached double figures with 11 points. Andrew Gignac and Sheldon McMeans finished with four points, Ryan Skerda, Jason Waterfield and Logan Galloway added two points and Mark Reiff finished with one point.

Warren (9-3) returns to the court Friday, hosting Bradford.

Jr. high mat
