Spaghetti served

The 30th Annual Pine Grove Township Lions Club Spaghetti Dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Russell Fire Hall. Admission will be $7 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12. Proceeds will benefit the Lions’ Sight Fund.

Movie Monday

Monday Night Movies at the Warren Public Library will continue Feb. 4. This event is free of charge and will begin at 5 p.m. in the Slater Room on the third floor of the library. Please note the early start time of this week’s movie! Complimentary popcorn will be available upon request for adults and young people accompanied by an adult. This week’s PG-13 rated, 165 minute film stars Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Anne Hathaway. Christopher Nolan returns to complete the Gotham trilogy. Christian Bale prowls the night as the Caped Crusader, fighting crime and corruption. Learn self defense

Russell Elementary School PTA will host a Women’s Self-Defense Clinic, offering a fun, modern and realistic approach. The fee, $8 per class or $20 for three classes, will go to the PTA. Instructor Sensei Nathan Sherman of Integrity Martial Arts Academy will donate his time. The program will be taught in a relaxed setting; fitness is not a prerequisite. Polka Sunday
