Alan Barron, 53, of Bladen St., Charlestown, MD, and formerly of Warren, Pa., died on Friday, January 25, 2013, at Wellington Regional Medical Center, Wellington, FL.

He was born on March 10, 1959 in Warren, Pa., a son of Melvin E. Barron of Youngsville, Pa., and Frances M. Kavander Barron of Vero Beach, FL.

Alan graduated high school in 1977 in Williston, SC. He worked construction for many years and most recently was working as a foreman on government projects for The Bell Co., LLC, for the past two years.

Alan was a member of the American Legion in Youngsville, PA. He loved flying sailplanes, was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his parents, Alan is survived by three sisters, Christine Boyer of Vero Beach, FL, Melanie Barron and Debra Barron both of Greenacres, FL; two brothers, James Barron of West Palm Beach, FL, and Donald Barron of Vero Beach, FL; a niece, Jennifer Boyer; a nephew, David Murray; and a greatnephew, Joseph Norberto.

There will be no visitation or services.

Burial will be in West Spring Creek Cemetery, West Spring Creek, PA.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, PA.
