Public Meeting

The Revitalization of Youngsville organization announces a community-wide open meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Youngsville Borough Building, 40 Railroad St. for the purpose of determining the future of Youngsville’s A-‘Maize’-ing Corn Fest.

R.O.Y. has organized and conducted Corn Fest for each of the past seven years, with varying degrees of success. But with Phase One of R.O.Y.’s revitalization of downtown Youngsville scheduled to begin in earnest over the next several months, and likely to be in full swing during August, serious discussion needs to take place by residents of Youngsville about 2013 Corn Fest. No subject having to do with Corn Fest will be off-limits, including whether or not to have 2013 Corn Fest.

All residents of Youngsville Borough and Brokenstraw Township are invited to participate in this open meeting.
