To dance Saturday

Circle Eight Square Dance Club of Warren will dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m Saturday, Jan. 26, in the auditorium at Warren State Hospital. Dick Miller will call squares.

Movie Monday

Monday Night Movies at the Warren Public Library will continue Jan. 28. This free event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Slater Room on the third floor of the library. Complimentary popcorn will be available upon request for adults and young people accompanied by an adult. This week’s PG-13 rated, 111 minute film stars Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, and Justin Timberlake. Gus Lobel has been one of the best scouts in baseball for decades, but, despite his efforts to hide it, age is starting to catch up with him. The one person who might be able to help is also the one person Gus would never ask: his daughter, Mickey an associate at a high-powered Atlanta law firm whose drive and ambition has put her on the fast track to becoming partner. Against her better judgment, and over Gus’s objections, Mickey joins him on his latest scouting trip to North Carolina, jeopardizing her own career to save his. Forced to spend time together for the first time in years, each makes new discoveries-revealing long-held truths about their past and present that could change their future. Call the library at 723-4650 for the exact title of this and other movies in this series as the library’s movie license does not permit listing the titles of movies outside the library.
