Pearl B. (Mellon) Kolich, age 82, of the McKinley Health Center in Brookville, Pa., formerly of Tidioute, Pa., died on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at McKinley. She was born May 9, 1930 in Tidioute, daughter of the late Emery and Jenny (Grela) Mellon. In June, 1954 she married John N. Kolich who died December 27, 2001. She was Catholic by faith, a member of the New London Grange in Tidioute, and the Warren County Humane Society. Pearl was raised on the family farm in Tidioute where she lived most of her life. She loved farming.
Surviving are her brother, Clayton C. Mellon of Tionesta and his companion Sherry Check. 2 nephews, Gregory C. Mellon and his wife Doris of Tionesta; and Robert L. Mellon of Tylersburg. 3 nieces, Sally Urbanic and her husband Scott of Tidioute; Sandy Mellon and her companion Dennis Kitelinger also of Tidioute; Sheila Gema and her husband Kevin of Warren, Pa. Several great and great greatnieces and nephews. 1 Aunt also survives, Elsie Taydus of Youngsville, Pa.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Mellon.
There will be no public visitation. All services held will be private. Entombment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Warren, Pa.
