Good deed by State Trooper

Dear editor:

I’m writing to acknowledge a kind deed performed by one of our public servants, Trooper Herrick.

He showed great consideration for my safety. I was forced to ride my bicycle to work at 11 p.m. in near blizzard conditions. The officer offered to give me a ride, so we stuffed my bike in the trunk, and he got me to work safely. Then, when I got to work, I noticed I had lost my good gloves, so he went back to where he picked me up and sure enough found them and got them to me.

So I would like to thank him for his extraordinary act that probably saved my life, not to mention, kept my hands warm.
