RSVP Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program sets winter schedule

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) would like to remind residents of Warren and Forest counties that IRS trained volunteers can help them if they are low income, disabled or elderly to fill out and file their federal, state and local tax forms, rent & property rebates.

The following is the schedule of tax preparation sites throughout the region beginning Feb. 4:

Allegheny Community Center (ACC), 42 Clark St, Warren, Monday 11 a.m. 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Call the ACC at 230-7222 for appointments.

Marienville Library, Spruce St, Tuesday, Feb. 12 and March 5, 11 a.m. 4 p.m. Call the RSVP office at the ACC at 230-7222 for appointments.

Endeavor Sr Center, Township Bldg, Endeavor, Friday, March 1 and 15 call 463-7774.

Tidioute Senior Center, Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. call Pat Sveda at Tidioute Sr. Center at 484-3020.

Tionesta Library, every other Thursday beginning Feb. 7, 1 – 6 p.m.. Call the RSVP office at the ACC at 230-7222.

Sheffield Hospitality Center, Friday, Feb 22, March 8 & 22, 9 a.m. 3 p.m.. Call the Sheffield Hospitality Center at 968-5667.

Sugar Grove Library, 22 Harmon Street, Starting Feb. 11, Mondays 2 6 p.m. and Thursdays 11 a.m. 3 p.m.. Call the library at 489-7872.

RSVP is an affiliate of Experience, Inc and the United Fund of Warren County. RSVP provides opportunities for seniors ages 55 and over to be productive, remain active, and feel needed within their community.
